The data controller of the personal data referred to in this Privacy Policy is Newcastle Eagles Basketball Limited (registered company number 3041174), the Eagles Community Foundation (registered company number 05400969 and charity in England number 1112997) and the Vertu Motors Arena, formerly the Eagles Community Arena, (registered company number 11731561) whose registered addresses are Newcastle Eagles, Eagles Community Arena, Scotswood Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AF (collectively referred to as “the Eagles”, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) which processes any personal data provided.

CCTV, Photographs and Video Footage

For your safety and security and the safety and security of our staff, CCTV may be in operation in all areas of venues used by the Eagles which are open to the public, including the Eagles Community Arena (“the Arena”).

Mobile phones and other mobile devices are permitted within the Arena provided that they are used for personal/private use only and not for any commercial purposes. Nothing captured or recorded may be published for commercial gain.

All images and recordings taken inside the Arena, including CCTV, remain the copyright and property of the Eagles. All Event Ticket holders who enter the Arena acknowledge that images, audio and visual recordings may be taken of them and that these can be used by the Eagles or licensed to its partners without limitation.

All Event Ticket holders agree that the event for which tickets have been purchased are public, and that their appearance and actions inside and in the Arena are public in nature, and that they shall have no expectation of privacy with regard to their actions or conduct.

Photographs and video footage may be taken at any events run by the Eagles and, where required, consent will be obtained prior to this.

By attending a British Basketball League or Women’s British Basketball League game you also consent to being filmed, photographed or recorded as part of the audience with all rights reserved by the Eagles and the BBL/WBBL.

Emails communications

For the purposes of email communications your data will continue to be processed by us using MailChimp (our bulk email system) for up to 1-year after the last date of recorded engagement (opens or clicks inside of the message).

To opt-out of any email distribution lists the unsubscribe link can always be found at the bottom of our messages.

Once unsubscribed you may still receive transactional emails from us such as coaching, course or ticket booking confirmations, membership subscription correspondence or club shop order receipts and shipping notifications. Any of these afore mentioned transactions may re-subscribe you to our marketing communications if you opt-in to receiving them from us at that point in time.

We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006 as well as to the partners and affiliates listed on our website from time to time.
